Jaclyn Stuart, a graduate of Gray’s School of Art in Aberdeen with a BA (Hons) in Fine Art (2000), has been creating artwork for over two decades. Her work explores the intricacies of the human experience, often weaving in themes of the Divine.
“I draw inspiration from life, nature, and found objects, using them to craft vivid metaphors, exploring the beauty and fragility of life, the journey from brokenness to repair, and the cycles of loss and restoration.”
As a child, Jaclyn frequently visited Pitlochry on family holidays, developing an early affection for the landscape and atmosphere of the town. Twenty four years ago she returned for her honeymoon, creating more treasured memories. It is particularly meaningful for her to now exhibit here as a professional artist and revisit a place that has held such a special place in her life.
