Born and brought up in Perth, Yvonne graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art in 1991 with a BA(Hons) in Fine Art (Drawing and Painting).

After a break of about ten years spent raising her children, Yvonne returned to painting in 2009. She works from the idyllic location of her garden studio near Perth, surrounded by an abundance of nature.

Working mainly in oils, and also charcoal and pastel, Yvonne’s inspiration is derived from seeking out peace, beauty and light in an ever-increasingly, darkening world. It is her solace.
